This is the Zoom recording of a Harrell Health Sciences Library Workshop held on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
Workshop Description and Learning Objectives:
With the explosion of research on COVID-19, it is not always easy to locate most current literature available, especially if only relying on PubMed.
Brad Long, who is currently volunteering with the WHO/GOARN Librarian Reserve Corps (https://tinyurl.com/y6le9mzm), will present a webinar on how to effectively search for COVID-19 research literature, beyond what can be found in PubMed.
The learning objectives for this session are:
· Identify Library databases beyond PubMed and how to effectively search them.
· Learn how to effectively search U.S., WHO, and international government websites.
· Identify pre-print and other grey literature resources to search.
· Dealing with pandemic-related misinformation and disinformation.
