USC Classics Prof. Raps the Iliad

By rapping the prologue to the Iliad, a new USC Dornsife professor of classics has taken a modern approach to teaching an ancient poem.

Assistant Prof. Brandon Bourgeois isn't just channeling his inner hip-hop artist, he's mirroring the tradition of spoken word, which is how The Iliad was shared for six centuries, before it was finally written down.
