1. This is a question from a health consultant – I see the CDC has come out that the COVID germs only risk 1% of remaining on surfaces. I know OCDEL has not put anything out yet. Some of the providers have very few toys out because of COVID. Do you think with this from the CDC that more toys could be added if it is not ones that cannot be cleaned easily(stuffed toys etc.)?
2. This is a similar question, but involves other issues - Providers are asking questions about what happens in CC after vaccination occurs – mask wearing, documentation of vaccination refusal, how to handle those that don’t want to work with people who don’t get the vaccine. These are difficult questions to address. What are some helpful ways to think about what the practical implications of vaccination are for child care settings?
