Mei Cohn, an international student from Ecuador, describes her upbringing in a close-knit community in Guayaquil, her education at a German school, and her transition to studying at Penn State University in the United States. She discusses the cultural differences she has observed, such as the more independent lifestyle of American students compared to the family-oriented approach in Ecuador. Mei also shares her plans to travel after graduation before pursuing a master's degree, and her advice for younger students to stay true to themselves and enjoy the college experience.
