Faculty to Faculty: What Works in Remote Teaching? [Gerontology & Nursing]

Faculty to Faculty is a video series created as a collaboration between The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence and Penn State faculty. In these short videos, we asked faculty to share their pedagogical strategies and lessons learned from transitioning to remote teaching in accordance with Penn State's COVID-19 response.

In this video, Associate Teaching Professor of Nursing, Eric Doerfler shares tips on arranging course materials on canvas for ease of access and retrieval. He also shares specific teaching and assessment strategies that he adopted with students who did not get to go out in the field due to protective measures.
