Faculty to Faculty: What Works in Remote Teaching?[Mathematics]

Faculty to Faculty is a video series created as a collaboration between The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence and Penn State faculty. In these short videos, we asked faculty to share their pedagogical strategies and lessons learned from transitioning to remote teaching in accordance with Penn State's COVID-19 response.
In this video, Selvi Jagadesan, an Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematics, explains how screen mirroring her tablet on Zoom allowed her to successfully continue teaching synchronously. She provides a quick demo that shows how it can be done in a way to increase students' remote interaction. Finally, Selvi shares strategies that worked that she plans to continue adopting in the future.
