Effective facilitation in education requires a focus on student engagement and finding diverse ways to enhance learning experiences. One such approach is leveraging peer support, where students collaborate on assignments and engage their peers. This strategy not only deepens their understanding through explaining and teaching to others but also fosters academic engagement beyond the classroom and builds relationships among students. By combining individual assignments completed outside the classroom and leveraging collaborative project work in class, students have the opportunity to actively participate, ask questions, and ensure their own progress. Leveraging peer support proves to be a valuable methodology for promoting interactive learning and improving students’ overall academic performance.
