Faculty to Faculty: Tried & True Teaching Strategies [Information Sciences & Technology]

Faculty to Faculty is a video series created as a collaboration between The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence and Penn State faculty. In these short videos, we asked faculty to share their pedagogical and/or technical strategies and lessons learned from transitioning to flexible instructional modes in accordance with Penn State's COVID-19 response.
In this video, Bryan Ollendyke, an information systems and technology IST instructor, talks about the rapid transition to a mixed teaching modality and how he focused on supporting public speaking skills as a way to help students connect and be comfortable with interacting with the technology.
